Anna was born and raised in Wisconsin near Lake Michigan. She spent her childhood swimming in the lakes, running barefoot through the woods, eating rhubarb pie, and drawing blueprints of houses.

She moved to Alabama when she was 15 and has lived here since. She earned a Fine Arts degree from Auburn University where she met her husband Tim. They love living in Opelika and have three sons.
